The National Wood Flooring Association ( NWFA ) is a not-for-profit trade association, representing all segmants of the wood flooring industry, including manufactures, distributers, retailers, installers, importers/exportars, inspectors, and consultants.

The NWFA's certification program was developed to reconize and promote competence of wood flooring proffesionals throughout the industry. Industry professionals undergo bolth online and hands on training and testing to earn their certifications.
